The Breakthrough New Treatment for Cellulite
Over 80% of women have cellulite and chances are, most have tried to get rid of the stubborn condition to little success. But no need to keep slathering on ineffective caffeine creams: The U.S. FDA has approved the Cellfina System for the long-term improvement in the appearance of cellulite with no loss of benefit for up to 2 years, the longest duration of a minimally-invasive cellulite procedure cleared by the administration.

Cellfina uses mechanical subcision and works by cutting tissue bands (with the tiniest scalpel—there's no bleeding and barely any bruising) in the fat under the skin to smooth out dimpling. "While the other devices heat the tissue, they do not uniformly disrupt the fibrous bands that create the puckers like Cellfina does. Cellfina's unique delivery apparatus holds the skin in place so that the bands are severed at precise depths which reduces the risk of contour irregularities," says Plastic Surgeon Dr. Simeon Wall, who says only one treatment (cost varies between $2500-5000) is needed for improvement within three days and the ideal candidate has "dimply cellulite, not lots of long wavy lines." Next summer's beach prep just got a whole lot easier
