GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Last week on sunday i went to visit Gurdian Angel Childrens Home at Mbezi Luis. Although i had been in-touch with them for quite sometime, this was my first visit at the center. I must say I was moved and touched by the way these loving children welcomed me.
We really had fun and had a very good conversation with the children. It was really interesting to listen to what they had in mind. They were so happy. During my visit I had the chance to speak to their mother Miriam who happened to tell me about the living situation of the children. The center has 10 orphans who live at the center and also has 20 more orphans who come at the center every end of the month to receive support.
At the moment the center is facing a hard time, this is to say the center is in financial crisis. Money is needed to support the children ie buy food, school uniform, books, and also pay for their medication. To make matters worse the owner of the house has increased the house rent for the children of which Miriam (Mother at the center) cannot afford. Christmas is approaching and Miriam doesn't know what to give the children, at the same time she has to find an affordable home where she can place her children. This is really sad.
As some of you are already preparing for Christmas buying presents etc these children do not know the meaning of Christmas. As a way of helping Miriam we at Jb Foundation have designed a special bag that contains 4 books (Daftari 4) a pen, pencils, sharpener mathematical set, a ruler, painting colors, and a water/juice bottle. This will be their new years present. This bag costs tsh 20,000. The children are not aware of this gift.
I wish i had money because i would have bought the 30 bags for the children. So far JbF is not funded so we are also not in a good position to provide for these children. However we are kindly asking you our dear friends and supporters of Jbf to help these children by buying the school bag that we have designed for them. Once you buy the school bag it means you have automatically supported JbF and at the same time given the children the best smile ever.
Dear friends and supporters of JbF its not easy loosing a parent(s). These children never wished or prayed to be in such a position. Let us join hands together and help these beautiful children. We are accept all sorts of donation, from food, clothes, books money etc. Let us make a change and make this world a better place for our children. They are our children, tomorrows future.
